Bones 04:06
Bones by Jesse Potter Verse 1 Yeah we met way back in school, something about a dynasty, and no one could play. Well I'd be chillin' with Parker, Parker Johnstonstein, you know I'm funny that way. Down to the reservoir, you know it's warmer than the sea, well we'd go every day. And when I'm even flyin' by, I know you'll even fly with me, I'd be like even hurray. Pre-Chorus Well I'm through with makin' sense. I'm talkin' gibberish, but I... I know you'll understand-stand-stand what I say Chorus Bones tell me what is your opinion? I know you got one on everything. Well why might the sky be blue and why might the grass be green? Tell me whaddya think about life, and death, and everything in between? It's you and me, and we're takin' on the world. Verse 2 We're takin' on the world bones, Oh-oh-oh, we're takin' on the world. (Scat) Well that's a little thing that we call scat, I know how funny you'll find that, but it's all just a matter of opinion. So let's sit d-d-d-down and watch my voice go trailin' off down the train tracks, takin' all my sense with it. Pre-Chorus Chorus Solo Chorus Outro We're takin' on the world bones, Oh-oh-oh, we're takin' on the world. Latda-da-datda-da-de-dum-dum-dum, we're takin' on the world bones. It's you and me, and we're takin' on the world.

Travel the World by Jesse Potter Intro Verse 1 Waiting for the door to open, me and all my friends. Well it seems the locks are frozen, you gotta be on fire if you wanna get in. Craving a magic moment, how many hours do I gotta spend? A lifelong gamble, to rove and ramble, Singin' til my end Chorus Wanna travel the world, before it gets too late, oh fate, shadowing the comfort of my home with the unknown Wanna go for a whirl, a soaring hurricane, and in my wake, I'll leave a favorite tune for you to find inside your mind, and be on my way Solo Verse 2 So save a song from silence, well they're waiting in the air. Pray they get their mileage, that they reach another ear. Well playin' aint a science, unless you'd rather go there. Well maybe I could try this, I got so many songs to share. Chorus Bridge Oooooo Ooooo Oooooooooooooooo x4 Chorus

Astronomy 02:54
Astronomy by Jesse Potter 2009 Intro Verse 1 City lights, blend in with the sky, think of all the life, that’s waiting to be found. Tired eyes, picture in your minds, what's on the other side, it turns your head around Chorus And the satellites are catching my eye. Watching them revolve around my life. And the circle of the sun the moon and tides, move so slowly to the rhythm of time. Refrain While we’re all just stuck in orbit Round and round we go We’re all just stuck in orbit Round and round we go x3 Verse 2 So take a peek, at the games of hide and seek, on all the different frequencies, turn lost and never found. Well what do you see, when you look into a starry sea? Obsessed with your astronomy. while The sun spins us around. Chorus Refrain

Uphill 03:34
Uphill By Jesse Potter 2008 Intro Solo Verse 1 And if we fall after all the labour life’s put us through, well I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna get right back up again. I know your stressed and life’s a mess, but people depend on you, you’re gonna have to push on through. You’re gonna have to see this to the end. Pre-Chorus And I know it’s hard, it’s almost out of your hands. And I know you’re so tires, but you’ve got to understand, that... Chorus Life only goes uphill from here, too bad you’re carrying a load. But the further up you go the grass gets greener. Check out the scenery before it’s down below. Always climbing, just to find the top a little bit further away. But every single day it’s undeniably closer, than it’s ever been before. Solo Verse 2 Life’s a box of chocolates filled with all sorts of mystery, You’re gonna have to wait and see. Tell me what flavor did ya choose? Well these are just the blocks you’ll use to build your tower way up above the world, the one where your dreams unfold, the one where you can kick it back and snooze. Pre-Chorus Chorus Outro solo

Life 04:04
Life by Jesse Potter Intro Verse 1 Do you believe in the words that you speak, the air that you breathe is of deceit. Gone so far, I don't know where you are. Orbit another star, but it's not ours. Pre-Chorus So why do you even try to change my ways? I'll spread my wings and fly out of my cage. You've gotta empathize, see another way. Sit and close your eyes, let go of the rage. Chorus And someday you'll look over your shoulder, gazin' so expectantly, seekin' out an enemy. It won't be me, lookin' you back in the eye. And every day I get a little older, well that's a technicality when living in reality. Well can't you see, I've gotta move on with my life. Intro Verse 2 Well I am hypnotized, by the ocean tides, carry away our minds, satisfied. A note encased in glass, will never be unmasked. Think that you've got class, you throw it back. Pre-Chorus Chorus 2 Solo Outro
6.
Lost in a Song by Jesse Potter Intro Verse 1 Well I'm blue like the ocean, you're hot like the desert. I'm sick with devotion, you're quicker to sever ties. I realized that you descended from heaven, fire in your eyes. Your heart's in the furnace, where the other guy left it. I try to discern this, getting burned every second inside. I find you had misguided intentions, desire to roll the dice. Chorus You dropped an anchor in the deep deep depths of my soul, ohwoh-oh. I feel the anger when you keep-keep stringin' me a long. I thought I'd thank you if you'd reap-reap-reap what you sew, ohwoh-oh. Well these blues have got a hold on me and I'm lost in a song. Verse 2 Well I'm red when I'm around you, you're cold when I'm distant. I finally found you, well you're gone instantly. Fleeting for my vision confounds you, seems a muse is all you see. Well your mind is brilliant, but you're staying so vigilant. You're one in a million, I come undone when I think of it. Now, I can't allow myself to revisit the road we started down. Chorus Solo Chorus 2 You dropped an anchor in the deep deep depths of my soul, ohwoh-oh. I fought with anger cause you kept-kept stringin' me a long. I thought I'd thank you if you'd reap-reap-reap what you sew, ohwoh-oh. Well these blues have got a hold on me and I'm lost in a song. Outro

Nova Scotia Blues by Jesse Potter Verse 1 I came to Nova Scotia when I found my soul set free. Knew that I was gonna when I left my last body. Whenever I get thinkin' 'bout those lives I've lived before, of all the many places I would come back here once more. 'cause everytime I leave this lovely place I get those Nova Scotia blues. Chorus Blooo-oooo-oooo-oooo-ooooos Blooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooos Everytime I leave this lovely place I get those Nova Scotia Blues. Verse 2 Some say that it's a cylce, mayhaps the by and by. I'll ride by on my bicycle, perhaps out on the dykes. Wheel just keep a turnin', like the planets round the sun. Representin' yearnin' for a journey just begun. 'cause everytime I leave this lovely place I get those Nova Scotia blues. Chorus Solos Outro Chorus Blooo-oooo-oooo-oooo-ooooos Blooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooos Every time I leave this lovely place x3 I get those Nova Scotia Blues
8.
This is the Life by Jesse Potter Intro Chorus This is the life, and it feels so right to be right here. You and I, take it in, never watin', another passin' year, to hold inside. Don't despair, it's so beautiful out there. You and I are on the bright side, but the edge is always near. Verse 1 So step lightly, we're walkin' on the path to enlightenment. Frightenin', I know, take it slow, take it all in. Those eureka moments, tend to happen instantly, you're growin' neurologically from infancy. Your beliefs, a unique reality, what you percieve may not be so real to me. But really, somebody's sufferin', what can be done for them? The saddest souls in need, set 'em free! We're gettin' close, but our brothers are movin' farther away, say another piece like Martin Luther King. Well I have a dream, can we step into the light, come together for a day and endeavor through the night. See the difference, between right and wrong. Are we forgiven? Can we enjoy this calm, before the weather comes home, the seeds we've sewn, and that dream we've grown. Can we even call our own? Chorus Verse 2 And that blade cuts deep, when you're moving past the edge. I know it's hard to believe, we're so inequal to the one percent. Got news, these dudes aint mythical, so what can you do? One single individual, you, wake a sleeper to the truth that they never expected, that deeper directive, they're forever affected by who they elected, and I won't go blind. Will you rise too? We'll stand together while a palace falls, we're bringin' the walls down. Make way for peace, check the lost and found for every note John Kennedy wrote before he croaked. Feds spendin' every penny to keep it up in smoke. That's a joke. But nobody's laughin', nobody's craftin' a way to take action. Give me a reaction, won't you get some satisfaction if you know. That you are not alone. Chorus Solo Outro Chorus

Black Dove 03:39
Black Dove by Micah O'Connell Intro Verse 1 Where are you tonight, my little black dove? Wings spread out like peanut butter, in the arms of someone's lover. I wonder where you've gone, in the rain, in the storm? City doesn't look so pretty, come to think it's kind of shitty. Well I remember once, when hogtown was my home. Gleaming streets have given way to entropy and slow decay. Chorus A canary from a coal mine would have done me good, a slipshod lantern to light my way home. Solo Verse 2 Here I go again, I'm chasing after you. Run until my blood is fire, to the source of my desire. Well I'm no Sherlock Holmes, I'm no Dashiell Brown. Harvest only getting redder, devotion like an Irish Setter. Barking And what I wouldn't give, for a drag of that cigarette. Remember how I quit before? You told me that I smelled like tar. Chorus
10.
I Get Up 03:06
I Get Up by Adam Bazinet Verse 1 Well the morning comes together, the alarm clock and the weather. When I stretch it's like I'm reachin', when I rise I will see stars. So I stay this way for hours, just to spite some greater power. Keeps me wonderin' where I'm goin', though I know it's not that far. Chorus And I get up, I get up and I go out, I got out and I come home, I come home and I get used to being alone x2 Verse 2 Well inside my heads a vacuum, and inside my brain's your perfume. And inside my mind's a rec room, where me and all my saviors sit. And we talk about the weather, and we talk about forever. Sure we talk sometimes however mostly we don't talk one bit. Chorus Solo Verse 3 The universe it teeters, on your neck above your shoulders, and the whole wide world it smolders like a fire below your feet. From beneath a pile of choices come the sound of ancient voices, all your memories join forces 'til you cannot take the heat Outro Chorus

Blue Smoke 03:02
Blue Smoke by Jesse Potter Intro Verse 1 This is a testimony to the jester hidin' in your brain. At best he's lonely, don't protest, you're driving him insane. So take your chances, you know the answer is on the other side. Ignore the glances, hold your stance, you're opening your mind. Chorus 1 Blue smoke, risin' up, never ever know where it comes from. Post-Chorus Well is this make believe? I don't know anymore, and it's only just begun. Intro Verse 2 This experimental, technological age is not the same. With an exponential growth of potential, praises to the flame that started it all, the big and the small, risin' through the smoke. Starting to lol, we follow the call, right until we choke. Chorus 2 Blue smoke, risin' up, never ever know where it comes from. Blue smoke, settle down, never ever know what I have found. Post-Chorus 2 Well is this make believe? I don't know anymore. x3 I have come undone. Chorus 2 Post-Chorus 3 Well is this make believe? I don't know anymore. x3 I put my feet back on the ground. Outro

Blackbird 05:38
Blackbird by Jesse Potter Intro Verse 1 My black birdie's gone away. Gone so far, into the machine. You know what I mean They put her on a plane, they took her wings away. Hold on tight to your dreams. And I've got a black hole. It's right where you left it, in the back of my mind. And it's holdin' me tight. Haunts me in the night, keeps me occupied, I'm just dreamin' of a glimpse of your eyes. Chorus Words upon a screen, they just won't suffice. You're like a moth to a flame, you just reach for the light at the end of the tunnel, that caved in long ago. So dig, dig, dig your way out. don't let go. Verse 2 Well my baby used to live a happy life. Thrown in the deep end, smothered in strife. Just livin' out lies. Changed her own name. Played the wrong games. Just tried to survive. Chorus Solo Verse 3/outro My black birdie's gone away. Gone so far, into the machine. You know what I mean They put her on a plane, they took her wings away. Hold on tight to your dreams my black birdie.
